What you’ll be working on:

Supports Savers vision by ensuring the viability and sustainability of the QA methodology and environments with a focus on functionality, high availability, test design, security, testing both web and desktop applications and QA environment availability and optimization.

 

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing QA processes and applications from code through development. You will have an active role in supporting set up and stabilization of QA test environments.

 

The Senior QA Engineer works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects as well as the SMEs for the business.  QA Engineers will work closely with Solution Delivery Managers as they set up their build UAT test environments ensuring those UAT environments are an accurate reflection of production. This position reports to the Engineering team.

 

What you have:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven work experience in software development and QA using Agile methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy, accessibility, ADA, and WCAG compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with both happy path and edge/corner case testing
  • Expert knowledge of developing and implementing process automation using scripting languages, and various testing techniques
  • Experience with automation, performance, stability and/or security testing.
  • Experience in QA management, configuration management, and demonstrate proficiency with release and bug triage methodology, processes, tools, and deliverables
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD/DevOps/QA concepts, tools, and technologies
  • Working knowledge of data and SQL in respect to creating automated tests, seeding data, and scrubbing data for testing purposes.
  • Ability to train, lead and mentor more junior QA team members
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision


Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or combination of education and work experience
  • 5+ years performing of technical experience
  • Background testing Enterprise level applications and consumer websites on various platforms including iOS, Android, and Windows.
  • Working experience with test automation tools

 

FLSA: Exempt

Travel: 5% or less

Work Type/Location: Remote in Bellevue/Seattle or Boise area
