 What you’ll be working on:
Summary:
The Legal Compliance and Contract Administrator manages regulatory compliance programs spearheaded by the Legal Department and processes contracts for various business teams. This position reports to Corporate Counsel.
 
Essential Job Functions:  
  • Manage and track regulatory compliance programs overseen by Corporate Counsel including, but not limited to, Professional Fundraising, Supply Chain Due Diligence, International Trade Compliance, Environmental Reporting (Blue Box Canada).
  • Contract management and administration for Savers business units
    • Tracking transactions from beginning to end using Contract Lifecycle Management system
    • Handle minor negotiated edits independently, with minimal input from Corporate Counsel
    • Work with Corporate Counsel for required changes from approved templates
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to internal attorney level positions:
    • Assist with special projects and initiatives including due diligence and/or litigation as needed 

What you have:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • High attention to detail and curiosity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional groups and with various business teams
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently with minimal supervision, and exercise independent judgment
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe
  • Capable of using SharePoint, Salesforce, DocuSign, and other software programs
 
Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a legal compliance or contracts management role.
Preferred Training and Experience:
  • Paralegal Certification
  • Experience working in regulated industries, preparing regulatory filings, and/or responding to regulatory inquiries
  • Experience with Conga, Salesforce, or other contract lifecycle management system
  • Basic understanding of contract law
