Marketing Specialist


The Savers Marketing Specialist will manage all aspects of marketing support for new store openings, relocations, and closures. This position will also support fleetwide store signage refreshes and marketing requests submitted by store operators and other departments. The position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager - Customer Retention.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies to support new store openings, relocations, and closures including but not limited to:
    • Signage
    • Email
    • Website
    • Paid media
  • Support store signage/brand refreshes
  • Coordinate the design and creation of marketing materials, working with internal marketing resources and external vendors as needed.
  • Generate vendor purchase orders for all marketing-initiated products and services
  • Intake and manage marketing requests submitted by store operators and other departments
  • Partner with Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager on ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Centralize and maintain marketing documents and resources
  • Manage software and other paid subscription accounts utilized by the marketing team: Ziflow, Trello, Box, iStock, Stocksy, etc.
  • Maintain and update store-facing Marketing Sharepoint site


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all marketing channels
  • Experience driving efficient workflows
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills including the talent to interact with, and influence, people at all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled at identifying problems and recommending solutions
  • Obsessive attention to detail.
  • Superior prioritization and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-pace environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with campaign and media management a plus



Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred
  • 2-3 years’ marketing experience, preferably in a retail or other high-volume environment



Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through verbal communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
  • Ability to receive detailed information visually through written communication (both physical and electronic).
